BREAK BEAT ALL STYLES

There's only one direction for Brad C (aka Brad Cousins) that's straight ahead. His latest demo had the whole TopJox office rockin all morning. We like him and think he'll do well if he sticks with it. Available to play all styles of Break Beat. Not the most popular genres of music right now but this DJ should be on your list. For more info and demos check out Brad's website:

"I'm 20 and first became interested in DJing and Dance music 5 years ago after listening to Fatboy Slims set on Radio 1 for Millenium Eve.

In late 2000 I got my first decks and messed around with different styles and genres to see what I prefer, and for a while I chose to mix a combination of House and Trance (the big sounds in my area). I spent the next few years perfecting my mixing and mainly played at school discos and house parties, both with and for my mates. I've also recorded tapes and CDs for people, which always had positive feedback."
"In early 2004 I had to stop DJing, for various reasons, but I still had the DJing bug. In August 2005 I was finally back in a position to pick it all up again. I bought new decks and a pile of new vinyl and decided that I was going to take it more seriously this time. I decided to specialise in one genre, not play 2 or 3, to give me a decent sized collection rather than several small ones. It was the obvious choice to use the genre I listen to and enjoy the most this time around, which is Break Beat.

I've always had a love of Break Beat (even during my 'house days'), but never tried mixing it til recently. From a mixing point of view Break Beat is the most fun and interesting style I have played with and I've put more effort into my Breaks mixing in the last few months than all my previous mixing over the last 5 years. As I love the genre as a whole I don't stick to one style, prefering to move and blend between Tech, Minimal and Party Breaks tracks to keep things interesting.

My real passion for DJing used to lie more with the technical/mixing/performing side of things, rather than the music itself. Now that I've combined that with my favorite style, I enjoy it a whole lot more and I'm ready to take on clubs both in the UK and overseas."
