Charly Madea, an International DJ PRODUCER with over 10 years
experience born in Paris,
the 21of November 1981 (Age 27). He moved to the South of France
when he was four with his family. A holiday trip at the age of eight
led to the beginning of a dream. Charly got the opportunity to mix
with a DJ in a club at the hotel where he was staying. After this
experience he purchased his first mixer with the determination to
make a career in music.
At 19 he decided to move to London, where he has been pursuing the passion for djing for the past eight years. During his time Charly has gained a degree in sound engineering at S.A.E Institute London and played in many clubs all over the world such as UK, FRANCE and MEXICO. In 2005 Charly won a DJ competition for residency at Stomp, promoted by Trevor Rockcliffe (Intec; Mentor) held at the club Turnmills in London and had the opportunity to play with a lot of famous DJ’S as CARL COX and PAUL VANDYKE, MITRESS BARBARHA etc…
Charly Madea has created a style of Minimal House Techno that has developed from a variety of influences, from South American music to unsettling, atmospheric soundscapes.
His last EP BLU LIGHT out on MINISCALK sold over 4000 copies of his tracks.
Charly is currently opening his record label MAYANS. That will be on the market very soon.
