At the age of 13, the phenomenon known as Darryl “Alize” Murray started to sharpen his skills at one of the hip hop elements known as DJ’ing. For over 15 years, Alize has rocked a myriad of crowds. This started with the historical Saturday nights at Milano’s, where Alize played alongside DJ X.

Darrel, once known as Blinky D, was given the name Alize by fellow DJ’s as his style is smooth, effortless and entrances his audience – and this caused him to dominate and draw the masses for every event he participated in.

Darrel showed his versatility by contributing 10 years of his skills to CKLN’s Power Move Show. This opened the door to him participating on WBLK’s Advanced Remix Show at the tender age of 18. To further hone his skills, Darrel also played and produced “Live At The BBQ” on and Internet radio show every Friday night.

Darrel’s love, knowledge and talent of music has permitted him to professionally express himself not only in Canada, but also in the U.S. and the Caribbean. His reputation and talent has preceded him and has provided Darrel the opportunity to open for such artists as 50 Cent, Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Maxwell, The Rascals, Beenie Man, Sporty Thieves, Camp Lo and Shaggy.
