I’m Jimmy C I’m a scratch DJ from Manchester, I first got into hip hop
around the age of 10 when I used to take CD’s from the bottom of my brothers
CD collection. since then I have progressed listening to some of the worlds
most famous hip hop starts and ultimately going back to the roots of it all
the DJ. At 17 I went to Leeds music collage. I met other DJ’s that where in
to all different types of music. And I met DJ’s that had developed different
styles of scratching. This led to a fascination into combo scratching and
helped me learn how to structure a set professionally.

I am now 21 and have great passion and skill to my DJing, I love to DJ, and
enjoy working the crowd. “I love it the best when the crowd can see the DJ
open up with the various scratch skills he knows” it really hypes everyone
up and I always get a good response!
