Joe Truby is a new, up & coming DJ from Oxfordshire. After playing a couple 
of small venues around Oxfordshire, would like to expand & conquer the world!

Joe Says: "I would describe my DJing style as tough hard trance with some 
more techy stuff thrown in. I try to keep my sets varied really because there's 
no point sticking to one genre because you & the people around you just get 
bored. I also play house quite a lot mixed with some chilled breaks. But I will 
play whatever people want me to play as long as its music that I enjoy."

"When I DJ I try to keep things varied & energetic, try to keep people guess 
what's going to happen next. When I am DJing I like to incorporate new 
technology like cd turntables & samplers. I use these when I am DJing because it 
doesn't matter what format the music is on because its still music.
I like to make my sets different when DJing. That's why I like doing things 
like 3 decks mixing, FX’s, samplers, scratching, cutting etc…"

"My biggest DJing influences are Eddie Halliwell & Roger Sanchez. I think 
they have a pretty similar DJing style although they dj two completely different 
styles of music. What both of them do on the decks I think is brilliant & I 
think its great for the world of DJing because its helping the DJing world move 
forward. "

"Also when I dj I try to incorporate some of my own productions. My producing 
style is influenced a lot from labels like Overdose & Druck. I produce mainly 
hard tuff trance. My biggest influence is DJ Scot Project because I think his 
productions are out of this world & I think he has done a lot for the hard 
trance scene by using lush trance melody's & uplifting rhythms & riffs with hard 
trance beats & basslines."
