Pedro Isoni has developed through the years a peculiar style of mixing where he priors "the music that touches you" instead of sticking to one style, no boundaries and no labels are some of his characteristics. Although he's been a DJ for nearly a decade he has no releases on any record label and believes that every DJ/Producer has it's own growth process, dedicating to skills, concepts, music awareness and creating your own personality as a DJ are to him the foundation to take it to the next level, and promises good productions for the near future and so on. |
| iso. is more than just another DJ.
He is a music-mixing prodigy who’s story is as unique and
captivating as his sets. Born and raised in the Brazilian mountain city of Belo Horizonte, he discovered music at age 5 when his family’s television was stolen and the radio became his only form of entertainment for years to come. Pedro was impacted by the power of a DJ to reach out to so many people and entertain them with choice music selections. A little more than a decade later he too would impact people with his own brand of DJ-ing. Fast forward several years, and Pedro would hear house music for the first time after his aunt gave his mom a house music tape to coax her into going out to clubs after his parents split up. Although he was too young to go out to clubs, he could see through his mom’s joy the power of house music to bring people together to have a good time. It was only natural for Pedro to develop a passion for house music that would soon take over his life. Shortly thereafter, Pedro got his first computer and started collecting digital music. Following in the footsteps of the radio DJs that entertained him as a kid, he started making mix CDs for his friends to show off all the new music he was collecting. The feedback was so positive that other local DJs starting consulting him for the latest music from around the globe. It was ultimately at the age of 18 that he would meet his mentor, Valber Oliveira. Valber was and still is a highly respected resident DJ in his hometown who showed Pedro how to bring his skills before a live audience and move a dancefloor. It was a two-way street, while Pedro was building up his live DJ-ing skills, Valber was borrowing tracks from Pedro’s growing collection. |

| Nature has taken her course and
Pedro is now a skilled DJ who can leave a mark anywhere he goes.
Frustrated with the non-interest for substantial artistic interest
from local promoters and lack of music knowledge from the crowds at
his stomping grounds, he moved to Miami in hopes of finding better
opportunities to feed his addiction for house music and DJing. He
quickly landed a Friday night residency at the beautiful Yagé Bay
Club on Key Biscayne then at Tantra in South Beach. After opening
for Paolo Mojo and receiving rave reviews for his performance was
when he started having larger exposure aiming higher flights, from
that point on he's played at some of Miami’s biggest clubs including
Opium Garden, Crobar, Nikki Beach, and Pawnshop to name a few. Nowadays living in Berlin where he considers to be "The perfectly inspiring environment" Pedro works very hard on imprinting a legacy while his passion for house music continues to grow with every set he plays. He is determined to infect people with a diverse range of music that will reach the depths of their bodies and souls. |
