TheGruve has been mixing up the scene since 1988. TheGruve started out his career performing at small/private engagements and worked up to some of the biggest most elaborate night clubs in the Midwest. TheGruve is a fantastic Dj with a burning desire to please his audience. He has been inspired by some of the greats in the field such as Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha and Josh Wink. These Pro’s helped in molding the building blocks for TheGruve’s atmosphere of the mix. TheGruve also owned for over six years one of the largest production companies in St. Louis MO dealing in fortune 500 businesses and club design.

I believe in taking my audience to the next level! I have been working on harnessing my mixing and music selection for years to finally get where I am today. I started mixing with turntables and worked my way up to the digital realm. The possibilities of digital turntables are incredible, (use Pro Pioneer DJM-500 with three decks 2-CDJ-700’s & a 1000 & a KP2). My sets are a fun and high energy mix with technical/vocal enhancements to make my audience feel as if they where possessed. TheGruve mixes Progressive House, Hard House and Trance. A lot of the music I play I have done work to and am currently working on some of my own original material. I have recently singed on with Acossi Records in New York City which will be using some of my enhanced tracks on their first compilation CD release. Bottom line I love what I do! I will travel were ever my services are wanted no venue/show to small/big. I thrive on the energy of my dance floor and feed off it. I promise I will leave them wanting more!
