Y STU K
also known as Stuart Kent is a Middlesex mix DJ who's available to play
anywhere in London town. He plays commercial dance and party tunes with
a dash of old skool and hits from the 1960's. Stuart's been mixing for
2 years and he's a talking deejay too (if required by bookers).
Stuart
describes himself as smart and presentable for all occasions. He comes
with a full mobile disco rig as and when needed by potential bookers
which is a great plus when booking for parties etc in a non club scene.

We
asked Stuart for a few words about himself.

Ever since I
started DJ-ing at my local hospital radio
station 10 years ago, I have been interested in
starting up DJ-ing in clubs and bars. I currently
present a chart show on Radio Northwick
Park(www.radionorthwickpark.org)
which involves alot
of hard work into producing the show. At the moment my
show runs for an hour and a half. It's called 'The
non-stop Music Jam', and during the show I play
current dance and chart anthems, and also step 'back
in time' playing tunes from the 70's, 80's and early
90's. I also do a section 'In the Mix' where I play 5
tunes back to back to show off my mixing skills!
I am also involved in Mobile DJ-ing with a few mates.
These are mainly private parties but there have also
been some fundraising events for the hospital. These
have included amongst other things a Disco for the
Golden Jubilee and most recently a School Disco
Evening.
